I find myself terrified of doing something wrong on facebook and saying something nonsensical on twitter. But, for all my fear I still tried. For a moment I had a blog about coffee. I was even doing videos on You Tube and wrote a little flash fiction on twitter. It never went anywhere. For all the trying and failing though, I am thankful that I, now, understand what everyone is talking about. Maybe one day I will have something to truly contribute. At least you have a reason for "tweeting" and will have dutiful followers. Just don't tweet any crude pictures of yourself, it's tempting I know, it seems like all the celebrities are doing it.
