World Around Us

A writer writes every day? Not this one, not when there's lovely summer weather and yard work to do.

Which means tonight I'm too whipped to be coherent about all I'm thinking about, so I'll just send you to the beautiful rock slide show on Lisa Westberg Peter's site. Enjoy.

  1. Send me some of your weather please! We had a couple of nice 80 degree days in April, but then the whole month of May has been rainy and cold, with temps from 45 to 60 degrees. Gaaaah!

  2. Rainy days and Mondays always get me down... I don't remember what sunshine looks like.

  3. We just got out of our cold/rainy stretch. The slugs feasted, but hey, now I get to re-plant the garden!

  4. Marsha, so timely your link to the rock show, as we have been working on natural landscaping for our yard and that is certainly getting me out of my writing chair. Rocks are the hot new and old things. Trainer at the YMCA gave me an article about how too much sitting can actually cause chemical changes in our body. So get outside - rain or shine to shake up our thoughts and return fresher to the story.
